“It’s so amazing. What a pleasure it has been for me. I stand there and it is exactly as I pictured it.” — Owner

A classic 1920s Cape Cod summer cottage located in The Moors, this elegant, water-view home and carriage house were originally designed as a summer getaway.

The absence of insulation allowed for charming, exposed framing and original bead board sheathing but limited the year-round use of this home.

A new, fully insulated shell was created on the exterior. New windows, roof, and siding were installed, and all of the original trim and detailing were recreated to return the house to its historic splendor.

A new kitchen, mudroom, updated bathrooms, and landscape by Bernice Wahler Landscapes complete this unique whole-house renovation.
